Technical requirements

A laptop with a screen size of at least 14 inches is recommended for participation. The bigger the screen, the better.
An additional screen ensures relaxed work. This is not a requirement, but it is recommended.
A desktop PC with a 24 inch screen is also very good.

Participation with a tablet or smartphone only is not possible.

It is highly recommended that you have
– a mouse with a mouse wheel
– and a camera.
A headset has a very positive effect on your ability to understand and on the ability of the other participants to understand you. It is not a requirement, but it is recommended. Below you find precise details about the technical requirements

Software

In this seminar we work with the online-Constellation-board.
A free registration at www.online-Constellation-board.com is required.

The operating system is irrelevant for all devices. Windows or Mac are both possible.
You can work with all common internet browsers. Whether Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Microsoft Edge, Opera or Vivaldi – the browser is not really important. We have had very good experiences with products that are independent of the operating system manufacturer, such as Firefox or Chrome. It is not possible to use the old Microsoft Internet Explorer.
We will use the video conferencing software „ZOOM“, which can be downloaded from the Internet for free and is easy to install. In addition, we will possibly use supporting collaboration software, which, however, runs simply and without explicit installation in the Internet browser
